1969 Volvo 142S
We are excited to offer this extremely rare and very cool 1969 Volvo 142S.
This car is a bit out of our regular offerings of perfect collector cars, but we just could not resist this charming, cool Volvo. How can you?
This is a Volvo 142S. Last year with the small bumper, pre smog, pop out window, 2 dr sedan. Bought from the original owner 2.5 years ago and nicely sorted and modified to be daily driver and a Cars and Coffee head turner.
Gas tank and fuel lines cleaned/new. New brake lines and booster. New progressive lowering springs, new custom made 8x16 steel wheels with brand new tires, new complete custom exhaust system. 50% original paint left with fantastic patina. Rock solid body with great lines, no major rust. Fender tips in the rear and battery box need some tlc. Solid floors! All original glass with Volvo stamps.
The car has only 131k original miles, hardly broken in for the world record B20 motor. Original Dual Stromberg carbs, runs great!
4 spd, no OD. Perfect (I mean perfect) dashboard, all gauges work. Heater works! Seats and carpets need some work, but useable as is.
Car is used as a daily driver currently, very dependable and thumbs up wherever you go!
Impossible to find a cooler car for less money.
